Cetearyl Alcohol is a vegetable derived emollient and emulsion stabilizer used widely in cosmetics to help hold fats and oils in creams and lotions. Frequently used in hair conditioners and detanglers, it lends an emmolient feel to skin and hair.  Our Cetearyl Alcohol is a 50/50 composition of Cetyl Alcohol and Stearyl Alcohol.
