Grapeseed oil is rich in oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids; along with, a relatively high smoke point. Grapeseed oil is widely used in the cosmetic industry in various skin and hair products for its emollient properties. Massage therapists often combine grapeseed oil with other carrier oils as it is easily absorbed into the skin.

Usage Guidelines

Grapeseed oil is a wonderfully light oil with a dry feel. It contains tannins, catechins and phytosterols.

This oil is light, odourless and absorbs easily into the skin.

Green colour

I appreciate the heads up about the colour! I was planning on making a coloured sugar scrub and refrained because of the oil’s colour. After whipping the ingredients it did because a very light green and I added white mica powder and it looks great, you’d never know it started off as a green scrub! I will however think twice about whether or not it’ll affect my product’s look.
