I have searched all over, but this is by far the best soap mold at the best price! My father-in-law attempted to make one, but found it would cost about the same to purchase! I love how easy it is to make such perfect & uniform bars.

I bought this mold to make tall bars with peaked tops, and it is perfect! I get 12 perfect slices with my wire loaf cutter set at 1 1/4 inches thick.

4lb wooden soap mold

I love this mold. I have purchased many molds looking for one that is a reasonable size and price and works well.
I've used my over and over and indeed makes a precise loaf of soap. I couldn't even make one for this price.
To make it even easier I don't fuss with freezer paper. I use plastic wrap and it works fine. My customers have even asked me how I get each bar so uniform and similar!
If I could make one suggestion I would love one that creates a bar in the opposite plane. For example; this mold has the "short side" on the bottom of the mold. I would love one with the "long side" of the soap on the bottom of the mold.
Regardless, I can't wait to get a few more! It's definitely stood the test of multiple batches and works great.
Can't find a better one at this price!
