My order arrived in a timely manner, well packed and in good condition. The products were of the quality i have come to rely on from Voyageur🤗
Made a 2.5 pound batch of cold process shampoo bars to give away to friends, using the Bitter Almond (and Vanilla) from Voyageur. Got a little concerned after reading the comment about the bath bombs, and a cursory search on Goggle seemed to range from terrifying accounts of severe skin reactions to "it's fine to use".
Contacted Voyageur, and they reassured me that it was safe for use in cold process soap as it has the prussic acid removed.
So glad, because the soap smells divine! It was a bit tricky to work with though, it came to trace super fast and came real close to seizing, but managed to work a couple of colours and did a quick "plop" design to get it in the mold before it totally jammed up on me. It has darkened considerably since curing (no surprise given the use of vanilla), but it is still a lovely looking bar!!
Well-behaved oil. Making cold-process soap; added it at trace to fairly cool batter. No issues with acceleration nor discoloration. Time will tell how long and strongly the scent remains. Five stars for performance so far.
