Our Cedarwood Texas Essential Oil comes from the USA and is extracted by steam distilling the heartwood and wood shavings of the tree. Cedarwood Texas Oil has a sweet, balsamic, woody aroma that is similar to Virginian Cedarwood Essential Oil but softer. It is used in a variety of products including aromatherapy, perfumery, soap, and other fine toiletries.

Usage Guidelines

  • Common Uses: Cedarwood Texas Essential Oil is commonly used in aromatherapy, perfumery, soap making, and other fine toiletries, imparting a strong, sweet, balsamic, woody aroma.
  • Directions: For aromatherapy, add a few drops to a diffuser. When used topically, ensure proper dilution to prevent skin irritation.
  • Blends Well With: Cedarwood Texas Essential Oil blends well with Bergamot, Rosewood, Cypress, Jasmine, Juniper, Neroli, Clary Sage, Vetiver, Rosemary, and Ylang Ylang.
  • Precaution: Essential Oils are concentrated essences from plants and should always be diluted before application to the skin to avoid irritation. We do not promote or encourage the use of essential oils internally, but instead promote their usage more for their aromatic and topical benefits. Always ensure that you are aware of the contraindications of the oils that you are using and consult with your doctor or a certified aromatherapist if you have health concerns or questions.

Great scent

It’s great, really does smell like cedar. Behaves well in CP but has crystallized at the bottom of the bottle in winter though it was stored in a dark and dry place. Seems sensitive to cold

dry and clean

Dry and clean scent, reminiscent of yellow cedar, evoking security and safekeeping. Behaves well in cold process soap.
