PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor is a vegetable based, thick semi-solid which assists in solubilizing oils into water. This emulsifier can also be used as a surfactant, and is frequently used to solubilize oil in perfums, serums, body sprays, linen sprays, oil-free creams and lotions, and floral waters.

Usage Guidelines

Voyageur Soap & Candle is Canada's premier supplier of soap making supplies, including PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor which helps to solubilize oil in water.

Add to the oil phase. Especially useful when in formulations with a large water phase.
