Behaviour in Cold Process Soap:

  • Consistency Change: Accelerates trace
  • Colour Change: Turns uncoloured soap a medium brown
  • Additional Notes: In Cold Process Soap we recommend using fragrances at a lower soap making temperature, approximately 110°F, and adding the fragrance at a light trace. We test our fragrance oils using a soap formula that does not trace quickly at a soap making temperature of 110°F. As soap formulas can vary, we recommend customers do their own small test batch to ensure the fragrance performs well in their own formula.

Smells like a vanilla dream cheesecake wonderland! 10/10

True Vanilla

Wow! What I'm loving about this is that it is so realistic. It smells like Vanilla bean, just as it says, and as I'd hoped for. Not vanilla icing, or cake, but just vanilla bean. Perfect.

I do love other vanilla scents, too, like vanilla cake, etc., but I thought it would be good to just have a regular vanilla bean scent in my supplies, and this is perfect for that.

Sweet vanilla scent

It is off putting out of the bottle and was worried first, but in soy candles this scent smells like vanilla cheesecake. Smells like sweet vanilla cake in CP soap. I was looking for a more realistic vanilla scent (like vanilla extract) but I’m overall happy with it.

True Vanilla

This scent is the best Vanilla scent I've ever tried. I use it in soy candles and as a person who loves vanilla, who has smelled vanilla in the bean form, food and products i would have to say this is the best! I highly recommend.

Candles and Soap

This fragrance smells amazing and does extremely well in soy candles. But our experience with cold processes soap didn’t go as well. The soap seized almost immediately when added at light trace. I’d hate to say it’s the fragrance if it’s not but we will be using the rest in candles.
