I tried the sample size but it definitely smelt like peppermint, so I’ll upgrade to a larger size next time
I had a laugh at my husband when he said it smells like tooth paste lol
Was disappointed in this oil, smelling from the bottle I was hit with a STRONG woody overtone—as if peppermint had a “bark”.
I’m defusing now, and the woodiness is settling as a back note, but it’s definitely the murkiest peppermint I’ve ever smelled. Not sure what I’ll end up doing with this one.
A forest blend maybe?
I felt this had a true peppermint scent, it is the 3rd peppermint essential oil I have tried and it was the winner by far
Notwithstanding the experience of the reviewer below, the contents of my bottle smell like peppermint, both immediately when the lid is removed, in use, and in the product. I made cold process soap and kept temperatures cool, as peppermint is sensitive to higher temperatures, or so I've read. The oil is well-behaved and doesn't cause acceleration. Don't know if it causes a colour change or not, as I added it after I added the colour. Will happily use it again.
