BEGINNERS COLD PROCESS SOAPMAKING
This is a great hands on, introductory class for anyone who has ever wanted to learn how to make Cold Process Soap. Learn how to make soap the traditional, artisan way using pure vegetable oils, essential oils, clays, herbs, and mineral colourants. This class will teach you all the basic steps of cold process soap making, from weighing and measuring to colouring, scenting, bringing to trace, and using molds. 3 types of soap will be made: an ultra gentle Castile Lavender soap, a Clay and Shea Facial bar, and a Beeswax and Honey Exfoliating soap. You will take home all soaps made in class as well as an information and recipe package so you can continue your soap making at home!

Edna Billesberger is a Certified Soap Maker, owner and manager of Canuck Soap, a successful Canadian company specializing in premium bath and body products as well as natural soy candles. After graduating from Kwantlen Polytechnic University with a Certificate of Nursing Unit Coordinator in 2000, Edna has enjoyed a successful career in several hospitals across the Lower Mainland. Having always loved sales and with a passion for health care, Edna decided to create her own business as she saw a great need for natural bath and body products that were non toxic and a pleasure to use.
Mark Billesberger has been creating beautiful bath and body products since 2012. He is owner and production manager of Canuck Soap, a successful Canadian company specializing in premium bath and body products as well as natural soy candles. After completing three years of electrical training at Kwantlen Polythechnic University, Mark decided to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and creative passion with Canuck Soap. Mark enjoys the challenge of blending different essential oils and fragrances together to develop truly unique scents for his products.
