Merlin, I tried your recipe for the salve and it helps with the pain from the arthritis in my knees. I did use more cocoa butter and less beeswax.

Excellent for sore muscles.

I made a lovely salve with this blend today. It knocked out the back pain I've had for months like it was nothing. So much relief.

120g olive oil
30g Beeswax
9g menthol crystals
2 tabs of voyageur cocoa butter
25 drops essential oil blend.

Put everything but the EO and crystals into a double boiler and melt down. When liquid, add the menthol. It will clear your sinuses like damn.

Just before putting into your container, add the EO and quick stir up. Let cool and solidify before use.

Do not use on open wounds, your butt, or eyes/mouth. It will burn and you will cry.

Works Well!

I added 30 or so drops of this essential oil blend into about 2 cups of Voyager's Shea Butter Body Cream. Mixed well and applied to my knee when my arthritis flared. After about 5 minutes I noticed a marked difference in the amount of pain I was feeling. Unfortunately, it didn't last long and I had to keep reapplying, but it's a fantastic breakthrough while waiting for painkillers to kick in. Would definitely purchase again.
