Sunflower Oil - High Oleic
BCO-SNFLWR-HO-250ML
High Oleic Sunflower Oil is a lightweight, versatile emollient prized for its smooth skin feel, excellent conditioning properties and naturally high oleic fatty acid profile. With a minimum Oleic Acid content of 75%, and lots typically averaging over 80%, it helps soften and nourish the skin while supporting the skin’s natural moisture barrier. Its silky texture provides effective emollience with a comfortable, non-heavy feel, making it a highly versatile choice for personal care formulations.
The high Oleic Acid content also provides greater oxidative stability compared with conventional sunflower oil, making High Oleic Sunflower Oil an excellent choice where both performance and stability are important. Mild, nourishing and easy to formulate with, it brings softness, conditioning and a beautifully smooth finish to skincare, body care, hair care and other cosmetic formulations.
Our High Oleic Sunflower oil is a light, clear honey coloured oil with a mild odor, rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids. This particular sunflower oil is of the high oleic variety and is a wonderful addition to lotions, creams, salves, lip balms and massage products. High Oleic Sunflower Oil contains a minimum 75% Oleic Acid, with our current lot containing 81.66%, which provides the additional benefit of being more stable and resistant to oxidation.
High Oleic Sunflower Oil can be used as a primary carrier oil or combined with other oils, butters and emollients in a wide variety of personal care formulations. It can be used directly on the skin and is suitable for both anhydrous products and emulsions. In creams and lotions, incorporate into the oil phase and formulate according to your chosen emulsification system.
