Recommended Ingredients:
Batch Size: ~525 g
Phase 1 (Melt & Combine)
- 25 g Distilled water
- 50 g Glycerin
- 10 g DPG (dipropylene glycol)
- 60 g SCI (sodium cocoyl isethionate)
- 20 g Bioterge AS-40 (liquid surfactant)
- 20 g SLSA (sodium lauryl sulfoacetate)
- 20 g Stearic acid
- 5 g Fine sea salt
- 10 g Polysorbate 80
Phase 2 (Scrub & Emollients)
- 220 g White sugar (granulated)
- 25 g Shea butter
- 40 g Coconut Oil 76 RBD
- 10 g Jojoba Oil (golden)
- 3 g Butter Cream Frosting Fragrance Oil
- 3 g Orange Sweet Fragrance Oil

5 g Geogard (broad-spectrum preservative)
Colorants (Micas):
- Buttercup Yellow Mica
- Satin Orange Mica
- White Mica - Pearly Finish
Equipment:
- Double boiler setup
- Heat-safe bowl
- Spatula
- whisk
- paddle mixer
- Thermometer
- 3 small mixing bowls (for colors)
- Piping bag with star tip
- Plastic wrap (seran wrap)

Sanitized jars with lids
- PPE: gloves, goggles, dust mask (for SCI/SLSA powders)
Directions:

Step 1:
Prepare work space and put on PPE. Begin Phase 1: In a heat-safe bowl, combine 25 g distilled water + 50 g glycerin. Add 10 g DPG and 10 g polysorbate-80, stir gently.

Step 2:
Wearing a dust mask, sprinkle in 60 g SCI and 20 g SLSA while stirring. Add 20 g Bioterge AS-40, 20 g stearic acid, and 5 g fine sea salt. Stir to combine.

Step 3:
Melt Phase 1: Heat in a double boiler until mixture is uniform and melted (~70–80°C, max 85°C). Stir frequently.

Step 4:
Cool Phase 1: Remove from heat. Cool to ~45°C, then begin mixing for 2minutes using a hand mixer.

Step 5:
Prepare Phase 2: In the same bowl, add 25 g shea butter + 40 g coconut oil, then stir in 10 g jojoba oil.

Step 6:
Add Fragrance & Preservative: Stir in: - 3 g Butter Cream Frosting FO
- 3 g Orange Sweet EO
- 5 g Geogard
- Step 7:
Combine with Sugar: Weigh 220 g sugar into the bowl. Stir gently until evenly coated and scoopable.

Step 8:
Divide & Color: Split scrub into 3 bowls. Tint each with mica: - Bowl 1 → Buttercup Yellow
- Bowl 2 → Satin Orange

Bowl 3 → White pearly
Mix until smooth.

Step 9:
Stripe on Plastic Wrap: Lay out seran wrap. Spread each color in a horizontal line side by side. Roll into a log, twist ends.

Step 10:
Load Piping Bag: Cut one end of wrap. Place log into piping bag with star tip, cut end down. Press scrub to tip.

Step 11:
Pipe into Jars: Pipe into jars, squeezing evenly so all three colors come out in a striped swirl. Add a decorative swirl on top.

Step 12:
Finish: Wipe rims, cap jars, and labels.
Usage:
- Apply a small amount of scrub to damp skin.
- Massage gently in circular motions to exfoliate.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- Use 2–3 times per week, or as desired.
- Avoid using on face or sensitive areas.
Warnings:
- For external use only. Do not ingest.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Avoid contact with eyes; rinse immediately if contact occurs.
- Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
- Keep water out of the jar to maintain product integrity.
- Contains nut-derived ingredients (shea) — check for allergies before use.
