Makes 2x 11 ml Lip Gloss Tubes
Recommended Ingredients:
- 15g Versagel – This is your squishy, shiny lip gloss base!
- 4g Castor Oil – Makes lips shiny and helps it glide smoothly.
- 2g Jojoba Oil or Sweet Almond Oil – Keeps lips soft and smooth.
- 1g 100% Natural Blue Raspberry Flavour – Makes your gloss taste yummy!
- Lip-Safe Mica Powder – Adds fun color and sparkle (we used Rosy Red and Light Gold Glitter).
- 1 drop Vitamin E (optional) – Helps keep your lips happy and adds shelf life.
Tools You’ll Need:
- Measuring cup or beaker
- Kitchen scale
- Spatula or silicone stir stick
- 2 lip gloss tubes (11ml each)
- Pipette or syringe (to fill your tubes easily)

Let’s Make Lip Gloss!
- Step 1: In your mixing bowl, combine the castor oil, jojoba (or almond) oil, blue raspberry flavor oil, and your mica powder. Stir until it’s all smooth and sparkly with no clumps!
- Step 2: Add in the Versagel. Mix slowly with your spatula — it might look swirly or streaky at first. Keep folding and smoothing until it's clear, glossy, and even.
- Step 3: Add your drop of Vitamin E oil (if using) and give it one final stir.

Step 4:Time to fill your lip gloss tubes! If you have a pipette or syringe, use that to carefully fill your tubes. No pipette? No problem!
Scoop your gloss into a small sandwich bag, seal it, then snip off one tiny corner.
Gently squeeze the gloss into the tubes.
- Step 5: Snap on the caps, wipe off any spills, and label your tubes with a fun name or design!
Tips:
- You can add a pinch more mica for sparkle, or a tiny bit of titanium dioxide (in oil) to make it more creamy/opaque.
- Want a tinted gloss? Add lip-safe liquid color or pre-mixed oil-dispersible lake dye.
How to Use Your Lip Balm:

Gently twist open the tube and apply a little to your lips for instant shine and sweet raspberry flavor. Reapply anytime your lips need a little sparkle!
Lip Gloss Safety Tips:
- Only use lip-safe ingredients (no craft glitter or unsafe flavors).
- Always wash your hands before making or using your gloss.
- Don’t share your gloss with others to keep it clean.
- If you feel any burning or tingling, wipe it off and ask an adult.
- Keep your gloss in a cool place so it doesn’t get too melty!
