Basic Liquid Soap Making Equipment

If you're just beginning to make your own liquid soap at home, we've put together a list of the basic supplies you're going to need:
  • Scale
  • Thermometer
  • Cooking pot – 8 to 12 quart enamel or stainless
  • Canning pot – 5 gallon canner for water bath or optional double boiler system
  • Stirring and mixing utensils, including whisk and spatula
  • A stick blender is very highly recommended to minimize the amount of stirring time required
  • Rubber or latex gloves and safety goggles or glasses
