Makes four 4 oz. jars
Ingredients:
8.5% Polawax 63 grams
4.5% Stearic Acid 33 grams
5.0% Glycerin 37 grams
3.0% Jojoba Oil Golden 22 grams
0.5% Sea Buckthorn Oil 4 grams
Part B
60% Water – Boiling Hot 444 grams
Part C
1.0% Optiphen Plus Preservative 8 grams
0.5% Vitamin E D-Alpha Tocopherol 4 grams
0.5% Panthenol Pro-Vitamin B5 4 grams
0.5% Fragrance Oil or Essential Oil 4 grams
Directions:
1. Measure out Part A into a microwave-safe bowl and stir to mix.
2. Slowly pour Part B into Part A and gently stir to mix and fully combine all ingredients. Continue stirring until all the emulsifiers have melted and no little flakes remain. Use additional heating if required.
3. Continue to stir occasionally to ensure even cooling and emulsion.
4. Once product has reached below 45’ Celsius, add all of Part C.
5. Add Essential Oil or Fragrance Oil to desired scent level.
6. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly dispersed in the product and package into jars. Product will not reach final thickness until completely cool.
