Floral Waters can be used directly or incorporated into the water phase of personal care, bath and home fragrance formulations. Usage will depend on the application, desired aromatic strength and the selected Floral Water.
Suggested Usage Rates
- Facial Toners and Mists: up to 50%
- Body and Hair Mists: up to 50%
- Linen, Pillow and Room Sprays: up to 100%
- Creams, Lotions, Cleansers, Gels and Serums: up to 50% of the water phase
- Clay Masks and Powdered Treatments: Use up to 50% in replace of water.
- Bath Products: Add directly to bathwater or use at up to 50% in water-based formulations
When using at higher concentrations or applying directly to the skin, consider the selected Floral Water, intended application and individual skin type or sensitivity. Floral Waters may be sensitizing to some individuals. Patch testing is recommended.
Add to the water phase or during cool-down whenever possible to help preserve the aroma. When diluted or combined with other ingredients, ensure the finished product has an appropriate preservation system. Always test formulations for compatibility, stability and microbial safety.
