Citron Mica

Although the colour is interesting, it is not at all what I had hoped for in my CP soap. It is the colour of egg yolk as per the photo.

So, I bought this to make a "drink" looking CP soap. I used my fragrance oil in my white and everything was fine. Until I went to go and add this yellow.

My soap turned orange. I thought it was the fragrance oil but it couldn't have been because my white was perfectly fine. I continued to work on my soap and finished the design I had in mind, thinking my soap was ruined and I had a failed batch.

Well, 24 hours later, the magically soap god's blessed me with a bright yellow soap instead of the deep orange I had the day before.

Long story short, this mica WILL colour your CP soap orange before it turns to yellow. I have no idea why it's not mentioned, but it turns your soap orange and then morphs to yellow. It's a nice, bright mica and worked exactly how I wanted it to, but I thought I had a failed batch until I went to cut it.

When I first added this color to my CP batch, I was disappointed because it had a distinctly light peachy color, not yellow. But when it came time to cut, that peachy color had morphed into a wonderful bright yellow. I am incredibly happy with how it came out at the end.
