Coconut Fragrance Oil

I find this scent smells really bad and doesn't even smell like coconut just a foul odor.

Smells just like a fresh coconut. Perfect!

Lovely scent works great with CPOP

Definitely has a play doh smell to it. Kind of smells like the coconut body butter from the body shop but only faintly. Need to mix it with another FO I think.. wouldn’t use on its own.

I used this scent in CP soap for a coworker. OOB this definitely smells like coconut and is lovely. I only had enough FO for 3.75% so I used kaolin clay to anchor it. It behaved like a charm; no acceleration, ricing, discoloration, or separating. I was doing a layered soap and had to stick blend quite a bit to get the batter to the thickness I needed, which is a plus! A couple days after making the soap, the scent seemed to get sweeter, and really gave off "flaked coconut" vibes. However, it has now been 4 weeks since making the soap and the scent has very much faded and changed from a nice coconut to something that's very hard to describe. The first thing that comes to mind when I smell it now is Play-Doh. Perhaps if this was blended with another fragrance it would stick around and stay true to its description but on its own, I wouldn't recommend it based on smell alone. I gave it 3 stars just because it behaved so well. This might work better in a different application, like candles/wax melts, etc.
