Technical Information

The Manufacturing Process:

  • The manufacturing process of these Natural Melt & Pour Soap Bases is similar to how soap makers have produced soap for hundreds of years.
  • The manufacturer makes the soap in the "hot process" method, by means of a reaction of the vegetable oils together with the alkali in large vessels, "cooked" until completion.
  • During this "cooking" process they can then add all sorts of ingredients such as butters, additional oils, extracts, exfoliants, and a variety of other ingredients.
  • The finished product is then poured into molds and allowed to cool. Once solidified, the finished Melt & Pour Soap is cut into blocks and ready for crafters to melt down and work with, adding fragrances, colours, exfoliates, using decorative molds and techniques to make their own unique soap creations!

Ingredients:

  • Coconut Oil

Best soap base!

i have been using this soap base for a while now and i only receive excellent feedback from customers. people love how long lasting the soap is and how the fragrance lasts throughout the entire use of the soap. i add a few ingredients to cutomize it and it holds the scents of essential oils far better than cold process soap. Downside: It dries very quickly so it is best suited for simple bar soap and minimal fussing. Quite frankly, i don't even bother making cold process soap anymore. Great product!

Excellent soap base!

I tried a few other m&p soap bases from here, but the clear ones just look like plastic and would "sweat" when left by the sink. When I discovered this Low Sweat White Melt & Pour Soap Base I was thrilled! I have made dozens of soap bars with this base and have had lots of compliments from people about how well it lathers and doesn't leave their skin feeling dry at all. Super easy to use, I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to make their own soap without actually making from scratch :)

Best melt and pour on the market

This company’s melt and pour is by far the best I’ve ever used. Other melt and pour bases tend to look like plastic - this one looks like handmade soap and doesn’t have all the chemicals in it that many others do.
I have tried other brands and ended up not even using them because they just cannot hold a candle to this one.
