Stephenson No Sweat Transparent Melt & Pour Soap
MP-ST-CRYSTNS-1KG
Stephenson Crystal No Sweat Transparent Melt & Pour Soap Base is specially formulated to help reduce sweating on finished bars, making it an excellent choice for humid conditions and for creating beautiful “naked” soaps without wrapping. Its clear, translucent appearance provides a versatile canvas for vibrant colours, layered designs and other creative melt and pour techniques.
This unscented base allows your chosen fragrance to shine while producing an abundant lather. Easy to melt and customize, it is ideal for creating polished, professional-looking soap bars at home or for your small business.
Remove the soap base from its packaging and cut it into small, evenly sized pieces to promote quick and consistent melting. Place the pieces in a microwave-safe container or suitable melting vessel and gradually heat to approximately 75°C (149°F), stirring gently until completely melted and uniform. Avoid boiling or overheating, as excessive heat may darken the soap and affect its clarity.
Once melted, add your chosen soap-safe colour, fragrance or other additives and stir gently until evenly dispersed. Keep total additives to no more than 3% of the soap base, including a maximum fragrance level of 1%. Adding excessive amounts may affect the colour, clarity and stability of the finished bars.
Working quickly, pour the melted soap into clean, heat-safe moulds at approximately 68–72°C (154–162°F). Lightly spray the surface with rubbing alcohol to help remove air bubbles, then allow the soap to cool and set completely before unmoulding. For easier release, leave the bars in a cool location for up to 24 hours. If creating a loaf, use a soap wire cutter for clean, even slices.
Crystal No Sweat is formulated to reduce sweating and is suitable for creating unwrapped or “naked” soap bars, particularly in humid conditions. Store unused soap base tightly sealed in a cool, dry location between 5–30°C (41–86°F). Results may vary depending on humidity, added ingredients and storage conditions, so finished formulations should be tested for stability and performance before larger-scale or commercial production.
