Deep, velvety and alluring, Velvet Noir Fragrance Oil is a sophisticated Oriental Floral with a warm, sensual character. Subtle notes of dark berry, peach and melon add a touch of softness to the opening before unfolding into an elegant floral heart of rose, jasmine and cyclamen. White musk, tonka bean and amber deepen the fragrance, creating a smooth, warm base with a soft and lingering finish.

Floral and musky with an understated richness, Velvet Noir is not an overly fruity or sweet fragrance. The fruit notes sit quietly in the background, allowing the florals, warm amber and soft musk to take centre stage. Elegant, mysterious and beautifully balanced, it has a luxurious character that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

How to Use

Fragrance Oils are highly concentrated and suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including personal care, candles, home fragrance, and home cleaning products.

Usage levels will vary depending on the product type, the desired scent strength, and the formulation’s ability to retain fragrance.

For maximum safe usage levels, please refer to the current IFRA Certificate available in the Technical Documentation section of each product page. The IFRA provides category-specific limits for safe use across different applications.

Final usage should be determined based on both IFRA guidelines and formulation performance. Always test in small batches to evaluate scent strength, stability, and overall compatibility.

We test our fragrance oils using a soap formula that does not trace quickly at a soap making temperature of 110°F. As soap formulas can vary, we recommend customers do their own small test batch to ensure the fragrance performs well in their own formula.

The amount of usage will differ based on the appropriate scent level for the specific product being produced. For additional details regarding the maximum safe usage level, refer to the IFRA located under the Technical Documentation tab. However, determining the actual usage should be based on the desired fragrance strength and the product's capacity to hold the fragrance.
