Our Organic Aloe Vera Extract Powder 100x is a highly concentrated, water-soluble aloe vera powder suitable for incorporation into a variety of cosmetic and personal care formulations, including lotions, creams, gels, serums, shampoos, conditioners and other water-based products.
For best results, we recommend slowly sifting the Aloe Vera 100x Powder into the water phase of your formulation while mixing to promote even dispersion and minimize clumping. Allow sufficient time for the powder to fully hydrate and dissolve before incorporating additional ingredients. Dissolution typically takes approximately 10–20 minutes with mixing, although this may vary depending on the production lot, concentration used and formulation conditions. Ensure the powder is completely dissolved and uniformly dispersed before proceeding with the remaining formulation steps.
The 100x concentration means that the aloe vera has been concentrated to approximately 100 times its original strength, making it possible to incorporate the benefits of aloe vera into formulations using only a small amount of powder. For example, combining 1 gram of Aloe Vera 100x Powder with 99 grams of water produces 100 grams of reconstituted aloe vera solution, approximately equivalent in concentration to the original aloe vera juice before processing. The powder can also be incorporated directly into the water phase of a formulation without being separately reconstituted.
When incorporating aloe vera powder into an existing formulation, consideration should be given to the finished product's pH, emulsification system, preservatives and other ingredients to ensure compatibility and stability. As with any natural botanical ingredient, slight variations in colour, aroma and dissolution time may occur between production lots.
We recommend conducting small-scale formulation and stability testing when introducing Aloe Vera 100x Powder into a new formulation or replacing a previously used aloe concentrate. Water-based formulations containing reconstituted aloe should also incorporate an appropriate preservation system to maintain product quality and microbiological stability.
