Tips:

  • When using Carbon Black in Mineral Makeup Products, the colour can be added directly to your base.
  • In Melt & Pour Soap, you must first add the colour to a small amount of liquid glycerin and mix the colourant. You can then add the desired amount of colourant to your soap base. If your soap bubbles are not white it means you have added to much of the colourant.

Storage: We suggest storing in an airtight container in a cool, dark location.

Caution: Approved in general cosmetics, eye and lip products. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not inhale.

Not for Cold Process Soap

This is a true black in the container; looks like you are looking into a black hole. However, in cold process soap it does nothing to the colour. Its a little hard to explain but basically if I look close enough I just see little black dots among the soap but the original colour stays the same. It also stains and smudges like crazy. This is probably amazing for cosmetic usage but I do not recommend at all for colouring cold process soap any shade of dark. Giving 3 stars because it is such an incredible black in the container.
