Use a large pot with a lid to dilute your soap paste. We usually recommend a dilution rate of 3 parts water to 1 part paste, but depending on what you are using it for your dilution rate may vary. Bring the water to a gentle boil, add the paste in small pieces at a time and stir thoroughly to dissolve. Keep lid on while the soap is dissolving to minimize moisture loss, stirring occasionally until soap is fully dissolved. When the soap paste is fully dissolved, allow soap to cool and it's ready for use. Natural liquid soaps can be a great alternative to commercial surfactants and a good cleansing base in creating additional products with. Additional ingredients such as water soluble extracts, proteins, panthenol etc. as well as essential oils or fragrance oils can be added to the Natural Liquid Soap base to create a wide range of gentle, moisturizing skin care products.
