After some time experimenting with this dye, it does a decent job in the bath bombs. Blooming the baking soda does take quite a bit of dye and provides a pastel and dull color in dried bath bomb. I just wish it was a little stronger so you don't have to use so much and for it to provide a vibrant color. Once in the tub, it does produce the vibrant purple color like the jar until it's all diluted in the tub, then the water becomes a light purple. I think this is ok because there is no staining. I don't know the maximum amount of dye that can be used before staining occurs.
Not a strong dye at all. Had to use a lot just to get a bit of color when blooming the baking soda. Very dull, pale pinkish purple color with 1 1/2 heaping teaspoons added to 1500g of baking soda. Very disappointing.
I bought this colourant to make bath bombs. I have to say that you need use a considerable amount for you to get some colour in there, and like the other review says it is still pretty dull and nothing compared to the color in the bottle. I was super sad to test the bath bombs and see that they don't even color the water. They are very pale but the bath bombs do look pretty, like a very light purple. Two stars because they just don't perform :(
This is a really lovely purple colorant, however it is a little bit dull compared to some of the other neon pigments.
