NTRASoft Emoll 65 is a high-performance, naturally derived lipid layer enhancer for surfactant-based cleansing products. Based on lipids derived from renewable plant derived feed stocks, it deposits glyceryl oleate onto the skin and hair during cleansing, helping to provide a soft, conditioned and moisturized after-feel while improving the overall mildness and sensory properties of the finished formulation.

Offering equivalent functionality and performance to Lamesoft® PO 65, NTRASoft Emoll 65 provides formulators with a more price-friendly alternative without compromising on quality. Derived from 100% natural, renewable feedstocks, it is preservative-free, EO/PO-free and cold processable, and can be used in clear, opacified and pearlized formulations. It is an excellent choice for body washes, facial cleansers, shampoos, baby care and other mild surfactant-based products.

How to Use

NTRASoft Emoll 65 is designed for use in surfactant-based cleansing formulations such as body washes, facial cleansers, shampoos, hand washes and other rinse-off products. It can be incorporated during cold processing and is suitable for clear, opacified and pearlized formulations.

Add NTRASoft Emoll 65 to the surfactant phase and mix until completely and evenly dispersed. A typical usage level is 1–5%, depending on the desired level of conditioning, moisturization and formulation characteristics. As with any formulation ingredient, we recommend testing at different levels to determine the optimal amount for your particular surfactant system.

NTRASoft Emoll 65 can become thicker and opaque when exposed to colder temperatures during storage or transportation. This is a normal physical characteristic and does not affect the quality or performance of the product. If necessary, gently warm the product and mix until it returns to a more fluid, uniform consistency before use.

Storage Conditions: Store between + 10°C and + 30°C. Storage at temperatures below 10°C can lead to a crystallization. This property is characteristic of the product and reversible by stirring and heating at 25 - 30°C with no effect on the efficacy of the product.
