Triethanolamine
Triethanolamine is an organic compound derived from ammonia that is used as an alkalizing agent to adjust the ph of cosmetic products.
Triethanolamine is frequently used with gelling agent TC-Carbomer FD20 Gelling Agent in place of a lye solution, neutralizing the liquid to enable it to thicken to a gel. To use simply wait until the Ultrez 20 has been absorbed by the liquid, then use equal parts Triethanolamine (slightly less than equal is recommended) and stir gently to activate. Within an hour the liquid should be much more viscous, waiting longer will produce a stiffer, better result.
