Indulge in the irresistible combination of juicy berries, delicate florals, and creamy vanilla with our Vanilla Blackberry Fragrance Oil Type, inspired by Phlur. Luscious blackberries and tart black currants mingle with a bright splash of bitter orange, creating a vibrant, fruity opening that is both refreshing and indulgent. Soft vanilla orchid, delicate freesia, and raspberry blossoms add a beautiful floral sweetness, while warm amberwood, smooth musk, and rich plum wood blend with creamy vanilla for a luxurious, velvety finish.

Beautifully balancing the sweetness of ripe berries with soft florals and warm, sensual undertones, Vanilla Blackberry is a modern fruity gourmand fragrance that feels both playful and sophisticated. Its rich, layered aroma offers a lovely combination of freshness, sweetness, and warmth, making it a wonderful choice for creating luxurious soaps, candles, bath and body products, and home fragrance creations with an inviting, contemporary appeal.

Fragrance is both an art and a science. Expertly crafted by perfumers, fragrance oils are complex blends of aromatic ingredients that create an incredible variety of scents, from fresh florals and natural botanicals to warm, comforting aromas and imaginative fragrance combinations. Unlike essential oils, which are extracted from natural botanical sources, fragrance oils can combine natural and synthetic aromatic ingredients to create unique and distinctive scent experiences.

Scent has a remarkable ability to evoke emotions, awaken memories, and create lasting impressions. Because fragrance is such a personal experience, the same scent can be interpreted differently by each individual.

Our concentrated fragrance oils bring these beautiful aromas to handmade soaps, bath and body products, candles, and home fragrance creations.

Soap Making

Our fragrance oils are suitable for melt and pour, hot process, and rebatch soap making, and can also be used in cold process soap formulations. Always follow your formula's recommended usage rate and the applicable IFRA maximum.

Cold process soap performance can vary depending on the fragrance and individual soap formula. At Voyageur, we test fragrances using a standard formula with a typical, moderate rate of trace. However, differences in oils, butters, additives, temperatures, and techniques can affect results.

Some fragrances may accelerate trace, cause ricing, or contribute to discolouration. If your formula traces quickly, consider soaping at a slightly lower temperature, minimizing stick blending, and adding fragrance at a light emulsion to allow more working time.

As with essential oils, certain fragrance oils can affect the finished soap colour. Vanillin is particularly known for causing gradual discolouration from cream or tan to deep brown, while other aromatic components may also contribute to colour changes during curing.

We recommend testing a small batch and reviewing our Technical Information section and customer product reviews for additional fragrance performance insights.

Bath & Body Products

Create beautifully scented lotions, creams, body butters, bath bombs, shower steamers, bath salts, and other personal care products. Always confirm suitability for your intended application and follow the applicable IFRA maximum usage rate.

Candles & Home Fragrance

Add inviting aromas to candles, wax melts, room sprays, diffusers, and other home fragrance creations. Follow the recommended fragrance load and mixing instructions for your chosen wax or product base, and test for scent throw, stability, and performance.

IFRA Usage Guidelines & Allergen Information

For important fragrance-specific safety and regulatory information, please refer to the Technical Documentation tab.

  • IFRA Statement: Provides maximum permitted fragrance concentrations for different finished product categories. These safety-based limits may be higher than the amount needed for optimal fragrance performance.
  • Fragrance Allergen Statement: Identifies fragrance allergens and their concentrations to help determine required ingredient disclosures under Health Canada's expanded cosmetic fragrance allergen labelling regulations.

Always follow applicable IFRA limits and test finished products for suitability and stability. Fragrance oils are concentrated and should not be applied directly to the skin.

At Voyageur, we test fragrances using a standard soap formula with a typical, moderate rate of trace. However, fragrance performance can vary depending on the oils, butters, additives, temperatures, and techniques used. As individual soap formulas may behave differently, we recommend making a small test batch to evaluate fragrance performance in your own formulation.
